Richard Ellis is a seasoned real estate professional with an extensive background in mortgage banking, brokering, real estate investing, and investment advisory. In 2007, Richard joined CS Financial, Inc., a residential and commercial mortgage bank based in Beverly Hills, where he currently serves as Vice-President of Residential & New Construction Lending.

Before moving to CS Financial, Richard was a President’s Circle award-winning loan officer at Wells Fargo Bank and Countrywide Home Loans.  While at these companies, he worked with Southern California’s top real estate firms, top-producing realtors, homebuilders, developers, and high-net-worth home buyers, funding over $100,000,000
in loans annually.

Additionally, Richard is a skilled entrepreneur and investment advisor, founding First Financial Services, a San Diego-based investment advisory company in 1994, and co-founding Washington Asset Management in 2000, a global equity investment fund with offices in Los Angeles and London. He began his career in investment management in San Diego
in 1991.

Richard received a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with
an emphasis in Business from California State University, San Diego, in 1990, and holds licenses for real estate, securities,
and insurance.
